![]() ![]() There, he meets past Prismo, who explains that these complex time paradoxes are part of an elaborate plan to resurrect himself. This recording convinces Jake to fall asleep.īack in Ooo, Finn realizes that he needs to play along with these phantom Jakes for everything to go smoothly, eventually activating a portal to Prismo’s dimension. This version of Jake’s wish-granting friend is actually a recording, made by the actual Prismo in case he ever died. Meanwhile, Jake is seemingly transported to Prismo’s dimension, where he meets a past version of Prismo. And while it didn’t exactly feature episode-based time travel, the creatively clip-showy nature of the phantom Jake’s recalled my “Time Sandwich” prediction and had me grinning ear to ear. Suffice it to say, “Time Sandwich” defied my expectations, and I quickly forgot about my erroneous head-canon. I thought it would be interesting to have the old animation mixed with the new animation, creating a dissonant yet complimentary final creation. I had this head-canon that the episode would see Finn and Jake travel back through past episodes, somewhat akin to the Family Guy episode “Back to the Pilot”. Most of us were positive that the episode would involve time travel. Before the airing of the season five episode “Time Sandwich”, the Adventure Time fan sites were a-flutter with idle speculation. Something strange follows: Jake begins repeating things he had done in previous episodes (including burying his Everything Burrito like in “Conquest of Cuteness”, dancing like in “Power Animal”, talking as if Lady Rainicorn is there as in “The Pit”, singing “Bacon Pancakes” from “Burning Low”, talking about death like in “The New Frontier”, asking Finn to wrestle him like in “Crystals Have Power”, and finally, re-enacting the memorial service) before seemingly exploding. Going into this episode, I had no idea what to expect-other than it would deal in some manner with the deceased Wish-Master-but I can say that “Is That You?” exceeded any iota of a prediction that I had.Īt the start of the episode, Finn and Jake hold a memorial service for Prismo, which includes silly chanting and culminates with Jake eating the last of Prismo’s pickles. He was such a grand character, and it was truly distressing watching him get turned to ash by the Lich. I wrote about how horrifying the death of Prismo was in my review for “Wake Up”/“Escape from the Citadel”. would that mean that he is not susceptible to prismo's wish of him being destroyed / ceasing to exist at all ?Īlien X could then destroy the universe which includes old man prismo ( his real body) meaning prismo would cease to exist since prismo is only a dream. ![]() Also, when the universe was destroyed/erased, alien x was not affected at all by this. The writer of ben 10 stated that alien x could actually wipe out the multiverse. ĮDIT: or again, bill could destroy old man prismo and would not need to fight with powerful prismo. Guess that would be a battle against the speed of their techniques of wiping one from reality. So it's possible that bill could do so to Prismo as well. None of those feats put them in prismo lvl,the guy just created whole universes instantly and stated that the wrong wish would make him destroy multiple well bill kind of one shotted Time Baby and his army. Fairly Odd Parents Fries? As they too grant any wish imaginable and can alter reality with them. He survived the destruction of the universe and recreates it in his own imageĢ. Fairly Odd Parents Fairies? As they too grant any wish imaginable and can alter reality with them.ģ. He even surpasses Time Baby's own power, as he disintegrated Time BabyĢ. Bill is perhaps the most powerful villain in the show. His abilities in his physical form includes Apportation, Matter Manipulation, Mind Control, Reality Warping, Inter-universal travel, Time Manipulation, Dream Manipulation, Clairvoyance, Cross-universal awareness(is capable of viewing different realities), Innate Capability, Illusion Manipulation, Intangibility, Laser manipulation, Levitation, Molecular Manipulation, Nightmare Inducement, Possession, Precognition, Pyrokinesis, Size shifting, Telekinesis, Telepathy, Madness Inducement(can create bubbles that can induce madness into whatever it touches), Regeneration, Fourth Wall Awareness (is aware of the real world and can "see" us), Soul Removal (Did this when he possessed Dipper's body) and Resistance to reality warping and space-time manipulation. He is virtually omnipotent as he can now do anything that would seem impossible, including bringing inanimate objects to life and turning normal people into statues. ![]() I dont know this guys full power.so, I'm gonna say. ![]()
