![]() ![]() You can’t answer these situations in on a simple cost vs benefit analysis. It can be a scandal because one of your idols was spotted with a man, or people trying to make an issue out of their costumes, or whatever else. There will be several situations presented to you where you’ll have to make a choice on how to handle it. There appears to be a cap on how much he can do this for you, but if you thank him for winning an award, he appears to be happy enough to be in his good, 0% interest graces again. Borrowing from banks means having to deal with interest rate but with good old sponsor-man over here you don’t have to deal with any of that (you still have to pay him back though. The sponsor (Fujimoto) is probably going to be your best scapegoat out of financial troubles. Do this and watch your talents bloom into some real head-turners (in terms of stats). This requires though that you let the talents automatically seek out training or development and that the corresponding people that provide that are also set to do it automatically. They can automatically find jobs and even develop talents without having to be asked. Your talents and staff can actually work on their own if you let them. Giving your idols a place to quickly regain some stamina will save you a lot of time and money since they can remain active for much longer. The tutorial kinda skips this but you automatically see the importance of having a break room once you read the description. ![]() ![]() So let me share with you some of the knowledge I gained through the many hours I spent trying to date an idol and not get in trouble for it. This game floored me the first few tries.īuuut if I knew a few things about how this game would work, maybe I wouldn’t be trying to escape a debt trap for the entire playthrough. Because Idol games have some rhythm elements to it and relationships, right? No. We were given access to a game called Idol Manager and me believing I’ve handled a game or two about idols, would be able to manage this quite easily. That is except maybe until I got introduced to Hololive, which is pretty much just part of the picture, wouldn’t it? It's pretty funny how the game chose to give her character card that personality, it fits in a way.My exposure to the Japanese Idol industry has been pretty much Love Live and so I have no idea what it would actually look like as a business. I find it funny that out of all my idols Yoshiko is always the one involved in scandals, normally involving her live streams in which she says or does something dumb, then when I try to moderate the situation she makes it worse somehow. Currently, you can have all Love Live girls in it except Superstar which hasn't gotten a mod yet, though from what I understand it's easy to implement yourself. I thought this subreddit would be a good place to mention it given how there are several LL mods to it. It's pretty awesome and unique playing a game that puts in the role of an idol manager, where you can hire, fire and train girls, make subunits, and pretty much every decision is left up to you - down to what kind of songs you make, who in the group you befriend or aren't close to, (even who you romance if you are into that), and the story mode is pretty awesome too. I've devoted about 16 hours to the game in the past week, and that's in no short part to the many mods, especially the Love Live ones. I'm just curious if anyone else plays Idol Manager with the Love Live mods, and if you're not aware of it I'd hope to bring it to your attention. ![]()
